Indigenous to the Val di Susa, this grape interested us because of its olfactory expression and it's high acid. It is the first white we have every planted because it is the first grape I've found that I think can do really interesting things in our terroir. Its name means means 'cats balls' in the Val di Susa dialect because of the shape of the berries, small and oval, which is a great story in itself. The wine has a lot of complexity, texture and minerality. We planted the vineyard in 2015 and we are already impressed after his first release in 2019 of the 2018 vintage. We believe he will become even more and important white wine as the vineyard ages.
